रजता - नथ (Nath)

नथ ही कोकण आणि पश्चिम महाराष्ट्र या मराठी मुलखांत खूप प्रचलित आहे.मात्र काळानुरूप नथीचे आकार आणि प्रकार यामध्ये अनेक बदल झालेले आहेत.

The Maharashtrian Nath, an ancient nosepin, symbolizes tradition and wealth. It was also believed to have spiritual and protective qualities, warding off evil and bringing good fortune. The Nath is also linked to Hindu deities and traditional dance forms.

Maharashtrian bride is incomplete without a Nath. Every women/girl must have a Nath as a traditional jewellery in her jewellery collection.
